Tentacles - Isolation Is A Gift

01. Natul Tortuosa
02. What Matters Will Matter
03. This Is The Part Where You Burn
04. From Hell With Love
05. Wooden Dove

Texas, US based Tentacles is a five-piece raw emo-violence band and this is their last EP from 2010. If you are into bands like Shikari, Welcome The Plague Year or Usurp Synapse, you will definitely like Tentacles. Very intense and chaotic stuff, I recommend to you.

The Reptilian - Full Health

01. Pretty Big Doses
02. Dungeons And Dragqueens
03. Bulls On Patron
04. Peyote Ugly
05. Roman Sideburns
06. 200% Sweater
07. Aerosmith Kids

The Reptilian are a three-piece band from Kalamazoo, Michigan who formed in 2008. The band combines elements of post-hardcore, math rock, screamo and emo into a a massive dose of roaring bass, jangly guitars and pounding drums. 'Full Health' marks the band's fourth release and these seven songs are some of the best to date. I was a sucker for the band's earlier work and this 10" blows all of that out of the water. Since 'Full Health', The Reptilian has released two more split 7" with Jowls and Innards as well as a 4 way split 7" with Annabel, Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), and Joie De Vivre. Great stuff! Highly recommended!

We Were Skeletons - We Were Skeletons

01. Drawn From The Houses I've Burnt
02. Exposure To Heavy Metal Causes Whatever
03. Pudge Paws
04. It's Like Science
05. Kids
06. Her Stomach Is A Lioness
07. Bruce Willis Is Dead The Whole Time
08. This Destroys Us
09. Well, I Did Spend A Year In College

Pennsylvania's We Were Skeletons play a brand of screamy, chaotic hardcore should appeal to long-time fans of the genre. The album was recorded with Will Killingsworth (Orchid, Ampere) at Dead Air Studios and is the band’s strongest material to date. Imagine City of Caterpillar, Kidcrash, Off Minor and Hot Cross, and Comadre rolled into one. Definitely one of the best releases of 2010. I figured a repost was in order since the album has been officially released. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. You won't be diasppointed!

Sirs - Vas Deferens

01. Starting At The Chin
02. Ready? Boomerang!
03. Is This Your Shirt?
04. Hibernations Sometimes
05. You're Gonna Be Great!
06. Hand Check, No Hands

Sirs is a four-piece band from upstate New York, US. They released a split with Chalk Talk in 2010 and another split with Run, Walk! in 2011, but my favourite is their first EP called 'Vas Deferens'. Really upbeat stuff with twinkly guitars and catchy gang vocals. I recommend it for fans of Algernon Cadwallader, Chalk Talk and Snowing. Sirs's full-length will be released this summer.

King Guava - King Guava Demo

01. Rhoda Valley Blues
02. Colonel Kernel
03. Jimsonweed Part II
04. Plague
05. Few And Far Between

King Guava play an interesting mix of mathy screamo/emo and folk music. They replace the distorted guitars with a banjo and acoustic guitars. Totally crazy band! If you don't know them, you have to check them out.

Boa Narrow - And Still, The Boa Narrows

01. Boa Narrow's New Jam Together (Parts 1, 2, And 3)

Adrian asked me to upload Boa Narrow's other stuff. This is more noisy and less jazzy than 'As The Boa Narrows...'. Only one 27 minute live song without vocals.
