Two amazing bands, Crowning from Chicago and Naedr from Singapore made this split called 'Rayau'. It contains seven really intense songs, the 'Ascension' from Naedr is the heaviest screamo stuff I have listened this week, so I recommend you listen to this record if you haven't already. The split is available on 12" vinyl, released by Left Hand Label and Zegema Beach Records.

'Funeral Designs' is a phenomenal debut recording, with the majority of the band continuing on from their previous endeavor Pregnancy Pact. These five songs are able to perfectly balance crushing emotional hardcore (think Furnace) and the melodic tendencies of newer, but still heavy screamo (think Loma Prieta).
