County Drop is an emo/indie/math band from New Brunswick. They remind me of certain deep elm midwest emo bands from late '90s/early '00s. 'Ink Of The Octopus' is their 2nd ep and even if it's pretty short, it fully captures your attention. There are also some pop punk and twinkly moments on this EP. Their sound is fresh and their creativity adds something new to that genre that's been repeating itself the last couple of years. Finally I'd like to say that the Lovecraft influenced artwork of this ep is really special and describes very well, the mixed emotions that a first listen of this EP can give.
