Now here's a really cool new release that's a first for Topshelf records. Cut Teeth are a band from Chicago, IL who formed in December of 2011. Cut Teeth feature members of The Red Knife Lottery, Monday's Hero, The Felix Culpa, Stay Ahead Of The Weather. With that being said, Cut Teeth sound nothing like any of the member's main projects. Cut Teeth play a really cool style of discordant, noisey, and loud style of music that incorporates elements of punk, indie rock, and straight up rock music within their sound. The end result is these six songs of loud, discordant, and at times off-kilter music. Cut Teeth bring to mind other midwestern bands such as Haymarket Riot, Science Of Yabra, Nervous Curtains, and Mustangs & Madras mixed with the driving backbone of Drive Like Jehu and Hot Snakes. Overall, Televandalism makes for an incredible listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
