Dominic is a band from Trondheim, Norway who formed in 2001. 'Persona' is the band's latest nine song LP, recently released via Denovali Records, Great Northern, and Not Another Record Label. Dominic play a great style of music that incorporates elements of post-hardcore, hardcore, and punk within their sound. They stand out from the pack with airy and epic guitar parts, almost leaning towards postrock. Dominic rips through the album with intense energy/urgency, fronted by fluent drumming and topped by crisp-sounding dueling guitars. 'Persona' is everything a good rock record should be; energetic, direct and loud. 'Persona' shows Dominic continuing to elvolve/progress and becomes more enjoyable and infectious after each listen. 'Persona' is an album that's been four years in the making and captures Dominic in top form. Overall, this is a killer LP and Dominic is an absolute must listen for fans of Caravels, Jr. Ewing, and La Dispute. Highly recommended!
